Friday Reads to Love

Hi my dear readers! :) I’m so happy it’s Friday! And the best news of all is… I’m only working half day today! :) yay!! In other news here’s the posts and blogs I thought was good reads and inspired me so much this week! Hope you like it!

a. last couple of posts from My Suitcase Heart. The photographs on this blog is inspiration alone! As you all know (if you don’t, you do now) I’m a big fan of photography, and this is really inspiring! If you haven’t checked out her blog before, please do so, it’s so gorgeous!

b. “8 Weeks to a better me: Week 8/ Awakening your Creative side” on Sometimes Sweet. This post Leigh-Ann from Freckled Nest wrote was my favourite from the whole 8 Weeks!  This is amazing to know, and helps you learn the tips and tricks for getting inspired!

c. “the belmont” from Everyday Musings. Seriously, that place is so pretty, wish I could go too! The photos are incredible as always, taken by Ben Williams.

d. “Outtakes from what I wore; 6.22.11” from A Dainty Squid. These photos are so much fun, I believe photography is about having fun and should not be taken too seriously. I absolutely loved this post.

e. Delightfully Tacky, Elizabeth’s blog is always so fun to read, and I couldn’t choose my favourite post I read the last couple of days, so if you haven’t read her blog yet, you would have to start! Her blog is amazing!

f.  “Our Wedding day: getting ready” & “Our Wedding day: Portraits” from Him & Her. My lovely sister Stephanie finally received her wedding photos and I would love to share them with you! Her wedding was amazing and the most fun I ever had at a wedding before! I am so glad that I was one of the lucky people to share her special day with her, because it was truly wonderful!

Wreck this Journal {part 2}

I’ve been meaning to post these photos on Thursday, but the internet here in South Africa is horrible and slow the last couple of days, it keeps dropping! I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally be able to share these photos with my dear blog readers… This was such a fun page to do!

I thought it might be fun, drawing something and use the holes in the page as poked-out eyes, all I could think of at that moment was Pacman, since I’ve rediscovered the game on my computer the other day! Loving Pacman! I had so much fun with this page!

Friday Reads to Love

Oh it’s Friday, I can’t believe it, it feels more like a Monday, but I guess it’s because yesterday was a public holiday here in South Africa. I spent most of my day in bed watching House (I’m addicted!). Also, I’m going to Groblersdal this weekend to visit my parents, I’m so excited! But without further stalling, here’s this weeks reads I loved!

a. “a little film about June” by Everyday Musings. As all of you already know (and if you don’t you will soon), that this is probably my favourite blog, Olivia Rae’s photography is amazing, and there’s always some sort of adventure that she’s on, and this little video clip can explain why I say this, this clip is so adorable! I will someday try making my own video of some kind!

b. “8 Weeks to a better me: Week 7/Personal Style” by Sometimes Sweet. This was so inspiring. Elsie from A Beautiful Mess giving a few tips on Personal Style. It’s worth checking out!

c. “The infinite variety of individuals” by Delightfully Tacky. Oh, gosh, everything she said in this post was so true, we ARE individuals, I don’t want to be and do and like what everybody else does! The things I do, wear, like and say, is what makes me ME, I won’t change for anyone or anything. I was so upset after reading this post by Julie Klausner.  I probably shouldn’t let this upset me, but it did, and it’s still bothering me. All I have to say is that Elizabeth from Delightfully Tacky’s post really inspired me, and I’m not planning on ever changing who I am!

d. “What are you waiting for?” by Sometimes Sweet. I loved this post, sometimes, we don’t say nearly enough how much the people around us mean to us, and time is so sort (clichè, I know) we never know how much time we have left to make sure everyone that means so much to us know just how much we love them. I’m making a point of it to let everyone around me know how much they are appreciated and how much I love them. What are you waiting for? Read her post now!

e. “The Dark Forest…in pictures” by Champagne Bubbles. These photos are amazing! I hope to visit that place someday!

f. “Shopping by Era {Wiggles}” by Wild & Precious. This is so exciting, I’m featured here.

Weekend

I consider Rademeyers as one of my favourite places in Pretoria, it’s like a little farm in the middle of the city, I absolutely love it. Sitting on the little porch enjoying a drink, you would never even think you are in the city at all, so quiet and peaceful, perfect for just a relaxing time having drinks with friends. Bonus: it’s soooo close to where I live!
