Chiswick House and Gardens

The day after Riley’s Birthday the 30th of June, Stephanie, Wayne, Riley and I went to Chiswick House and GardensChiswick House is a Palladian Villa, the house was designed by Lord Burlington and completed in 1729. The 65 acre (0.26km2) gardens was created by architect and landscape designer William Kent. The house was eventually used as a hospital in 1892 and in 1929 as a firestation. One of two wings was damaged during World War II in 1944,  and the wings were demolished in 1956. Today the house is a Grade 1 listed building, and is maintained by English Heritage.

This was one of the most beautiful days we had in London, it was hot with gorgeous blue skies, which made taking photographs of Chiswick House and Gardens a real pleasure.
