weekend

This weekend was the cutest, and by cutest I mean in a non-creepy way, it’s my sister’s daughter that’s cute… :) Katinka had her first athletics day at her school, I took a few photos, but none of them can show the extreme hot weather, the long time we sat waiting and the adorable way Katinka laughed and ran on the grass. It. was. hilarious! But seriously though, it’s only spring here in South-Africa, but in Groblersdal this weekend it already felt like mid-summer. I didn’t stay until the end of the athletics, but at least she won a medal for participation, she had too much fun to really get into the idea of actually beating the other kids in throwing balls, riding on bikes or running… Here’s a few photos from the day:
