friday reads to love

Happy Friday all! I’m so excited for this weekend, I need the break, this week was soooooo long! Even though, I have a few awesome posts from this week I’d love to share with you.

friday reads to love

a

First up this week Olivia Rae from Everyday Musings, as you all probably know already, I love her blog and her photos, I’m so jealous of all the wonderful places she gets to visit,  “Weekend (in Paris)”, “the tower”, “london”, “a little film about the loire valley”.

b

Awesome and extremely funny posts from Che over at indieBerries,   “winter”,
”what if wednesday” and “humba kahle! Go Well!” A week wouldn’t pass without a few laughs from Che! And this week’s was especially funny!

c

This is the cutest party idea I’ve seen in a while and I’m in love with this, a great idea for a bachelorettes party “Pretty Party // 1950’s Diner Bridal Party” over at Miss Indie. Always cute party ideas!

d

Busy Bee Lauren’s photography gets better and better by the day, I absolutely love her blog and her wonderful photo’s “recent clients” is the perfect post to show you exactly what I mean about her amazing photography skills! :)

That’s all for this week, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with loads of adventures and happiness! :) See you all back on Monday!

friday reads to love

ohhhh! Look at me all Being on time and everything with todays Friday reads to love, on a Friday, not like the last 2 that was on a Monday, oh, silly me! haha! Okay, but there’s quite a few lovely and inspirational reads from this week, and I really can’t wait to share them, I think this might be my favourite friday reads to love week so far! :)

friday reads to love

a

First up this week, I have my wonderful sister Stephanie over at Him & Her who did a stunning “I made this: leather kindle cover”, which I, by the way, absolutely love, she’s so creative and (if I might add) she’s making a leather cover for my phone too, I can’t wait! While you’re over at her blog, also check out the beautiful photos she took “our weekend in oxford and movie tuesday”.

b

No Friday will be a Friday without a mention of Olivia Rae’s wonderful blog Everyday Musings, stunning photos as always and I am so jealous of all the wonderful places she gets to visit, “autumn at the mill”, “sunset walks in loire valley” and “paris for the weekend”.

c

While on the subject of beautiful photography, you have to check out “Zach’s homecoming group” over at Busy Bee Lauren, it’s absolutely stunning! She took these photos of her brother’s homecoming group, and I think it’s absolutely fantastic!

d

A week wouldn’t pass without a few good laughs from Che over at indieBerries this week I loved “What if Wednesday” – how terrible it must be to pack your life in one box (horrified just thinking about it) and “It’s science” – the science of procrastination! (something I’m very good at by the way).

e

I thought this was the cutest and I can’t pass up the opportunity to share with you this cute little post over at Rockstar Diaries. “Here’s to happiness” made me think about the things that make me happy and that maybe I should create a list on the things that’s currently making me happy!

f

This might be my favourite diy ever, I will definitely try and make this, it’s absolutely stunning. Check out “Toy camera Tuesdays// Make your own camera strap!” over at Miss Indie. It looks pretty easy and gorgeous! ;)

Hope you enjoyed some of my favourite reads from this week! May you have a stunning weekend! I’m going to Groblersdal again this weekend, this is the year of all the 21sts and this weekend is one of my friends, Corlia’s on their farm in Marble Hall! I’m super excited! ;)

friday?! reads to love… on a Monday… again, ‘cause I’m still lame!

Happy Monday! I’m late again with my Friday reads to love! Here’s why: on Friday afternoon about ten minutes before 13:00, I decided that I want to go home (in Groblersdal) for the weekend, I stormed out of my office to ask the boss-man for the afternoon off, and so it happened that I drove to Groblersdal around 14:00 that afternoon. Also, the reason I didn’t do my post was when I got in Groblersdal I realised that it was my uncles birthday, which meant that we would have a braai (bbq) on his farm that night. The worst part of it all was…. I accidently left my camera in Pretoria thanks to the rush of packing and trying to get out of Pretoria as soon as possible! Also I think I had enough braai’s (bbq’s) for the rest of the year, It was National Braai Day in South Africa on Saturday, so we had a braai on my uncles farm on Friday night, Saturday I had a braai at one of my friend’s home and we had a braai on Sunday at my parent’s home before I drove back to Pretoria, and last night when I got home, my sister Heleen and her boyfriend made a fire, ready to braai … again! I’m all braaied-out! :)

Before I write an entire essay about my weekend, I’d rather share my favourite posts from the past week with you! :)

Like most of the time my first few post I HAVE to share with you is from the amazing Olivia Rae and her wonderful blog Everyday Musings, this week you have to see: “limoges”, “grapes in france”, “dinner at le moulin bregeon” and “weekend (in loire valley)”.

b

A week without some laughs would be a horrible and terrible week, and  “This one time…” and “Friday Fun” posts from the lovely indieBerries is a must read, Che makes my day each time I read her blog!

c

I cant wait to try this “salted caramel hot chocolate recipe” from the lovely a Beautiful Mess blog, Elsie always makes my mouth water with her awesome recipes and ideas… Wonderful inspiration! :)

d

Talk about inspiration, you have to check out the wonderful Sweetfineday blog for some wonderful photography inspiration, Jenna takes the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen, and she can make any ordinary thing look marvellous with her wonderful photography skills. “Last bits of summer”.

e

Summer is almost here (in South-Africa) and this “Garden Party {Spring Decor}” is the best inspiration and idea to kick off the summer loving over at The Pretty Blog. This party is absolutely gorgeous, I wish I was invited! ;)

I hope you enjoyed these posts as much as I have and I hope your day and week ahead will be filled with fun, laughter and happiness! Oh, and for us here in South-Africa, nice warm weather! :)

I’m saying hello from Groblersdal again today, I’m visiting my parents and tomorrow I’m going to watch Katinka take part in her first athletics day at school! I’m so excited (but not about the part that I have to get up really early though, I like sleeping-in when I’m at my parents)!  I’ll take as many photos as I possibly can and I’ll try to take some videos too… A Friday won’t be a Friday without a re-cap from the awesome reads this week, so hope you love them as much as I have…

friday reads to love

It’s FRIDAY!!! :) I’m so happy it’s weekend, tomorrow is one of my friends (Simone’s) birthday, so I’ll be there, other than that, I have nothing planned for the weekend but rest. Luckily this week flew by pretty quickly, I was swamped at work with our stupid internet not working properly, at least that got a bit better later on this week so I can share my favourite reads from this week with you. Hope you enjoy!
friday reads to love

a

Yesterday I did share these two links to fit with my post, so if you haven’t seen “Getting real” over at Little Chief Honeybee and “super long and probably
          ridiculous
” over at Busy Bee Lauren please read that, and also my post here.

b

And if you’ve read my blog long enough, you probably know that Everyday Musings is one of my favourite blogs and there’s no way I’ll skip her on my Friday reads to love, so please check out these posts, the photography once again is
absolutely amazing… “weekend (in Barcelona)”, “breakfast at the market”,
“sagrada familia” and “sunset in nice”.

c

The coolest and GREATEST giveaway over at Busy Bee Lauren, check it out “Busy Bee Giveaway”. Good Luck! xx

d

I laughed so hard at “What if Wednesday” over at IndieBerries, the cutest what if Wednesday post so far! I absolutely love her blog!

e

My lovely sister always has the cutest diy ideas, and unlike me she actually tries the diy’s. So check out “more on my diy list” over at Him & Her for her next couple of diys she would love to try.

f

I thought this recipe looks amazing, normally I’m not very keen on trying any cookie recipes (because I’m not a big cookie fan in general) but this looks amazing and I can’t wait to try this out “[Recipe] Oreo Cookies” over at Love &
          Photographs
.

g

Summer is around the corner here in South-Africa and this “3 Easy Infused Water Recipes” over at A Beautiful Mess would do the trick in this extremely hot weather in the summer and I can’t wait to try this out.

h

Also, one of the things I can’t wait to try and I think would look absolutely gorgeous as decorations at any party “pretty paper windmills {diy}” over at The Pretty Blog. MUST DO!! ;)

I hope you found something you loved to read amongst these wonderful posts during this week. May you have a wonderful and sunny weekend! xx

friday reads to love

Hi dear blog readers, it’s Friday! I’m in Groblersdal again, visiting my parents this weekend and will visit one of my friends, Marius, from Cape Town in Marble Hall tomorrow (luckily only about 20minutes drive from Groblersdal). I have a few awesome reads to share with you again this week:
Friday Reads to Love
a
Beautiful photos over at Rockstar Diaries, I thought Naomi captured their vacation @”hilton head island, part 1” perfectly with stunning photos.

b
I always have to mention Everyday Musings, Olivia Rae’s blog is the most inspiring blog for photography and I absolutely love seeing all her adventures, her most current, Spain. From this week, “weekend (in madrid)”, “chocolate + churros”, “el rastro”, “barcelona from up high” and “park guell”. Absolutely stunning!

c
Considering what some people think about bloggers and how some non-bloggers react to the fact that I’m a blogger, or even to hear about people who have blogs, I think most of us have gone through something like this some time or another and I think Sometimes Sweet put these thoughts into magical words and took these thoughts rights out of some of our heads, “a thank you”.

d
I absolutely loved this post from An Experiment in Poverty, I think it might be something to do with that the fact that I can relate to about everything she said, look at her wonderful post “I’ve never been very good at balance”.

e
I have another post from Sometimes Sweet I’d love to share, this story was absolutely amazing and I wish I had the guts to take part in this wonderful post and write about what I regret and why, what I would do differently if I had the chance to go back in time to change that which I regret, this post from her “Journal Day V.3” was my favourite and she definitely have wonderful and strong words.

I hope you all enjoyed the reads from the week that I loved. May you all have a wonderful and adventurous weekend!
